Lendrick Muir – Monday

P6 and P7 arrived safely at Lendrick Muir this morning. After a tour and a chance to enjoy some sunshine, we had a delicious lunch followed by a trip to the Adventure Playground.

Afternoon activities were team challenges. Some of them were very challenging indeed. ‘Isotopes’ and ‘frogs n toads’ were the hardest. Some decontamination time penalties were given for entering the contaminated isotope area. Points for success and teamwork were awarded and converted into cash to spend in the rocket shop. Rockets were designed and built in the amazing sunshine and we all gathered to watch the launch of the 4 rockets. The Green group won with the furthest distance from the launch pad.

Off now for the post dinner activity – inflatables in the sports hall. Hoping that we all sleep well tonight after loads of fresh air and sunshine. Another busy day ahead tomorrow with archery, bungee trampolines, crazy golf, high ropes, nightline, survival skills, bouldering and bikes!

The Green Team won the Rocket Challenge
