The Forth Valley Cross Country Championship was held on 1st March at West End Park in Alloa. 6 Kippen Primary pupils were selected to participate since they had come in the top 20 at the Stirling event. Harriet, Angus and Callum B were in the P6 races and Jack J, Ben W and David were in the P7 race.
Well done to all our athletes for completing a challenging course. Callum came 3rd in his race and was awarded a medal.
“It was really fun but nerve racking. I felt puffed out and felt like I was going to be sick. Now I have been invited to do a hill race, a road race and an 800m race.” Callum B
“The course seemed to be longer than the last race. There was a hill which made the running harder. I felt good that I had got through to this stage.” Angus
