Dear Diary,
It’s over. It went by soooo quickly. The rehearsal in the morning was good and bad. I made about 2 (billion) mistakes though it went alright in the evening. I was extremely anxious, but I got over it in the end.
I hate the way the butterflies gradually build up one after another, right up to your head. Mrs Logan probably felt the same way though. She did lots to help us: prepared the dances, signed us up for it, everything!
One of my favourite parts was 2 minutes before we put a foot on stage. The adrenalin really started pumping. During our time on stage I thought of all the previous Christmas pantomimes we had seen and how I was on the very same stage.
There were no lights shining on the audience so you only saw the first five rows. You really could sense them though, like electricity. My parents were in the third row and I couldn’t stop grinning. Ta ta for now.
Harriet
