On Wednesday the 25th of January Primary 7 will be hosting their annual Burns Supper. It is a very special tradition that many people over the world celebrate, so we are very proud to be organising such an event.
PLANNING
Miss Nicol is handing it all over to P7. It is very stressful planning it but we are doing a good job and we think it is going well. Everyone in the class has their own special role within their team. The teams include logistics, musicians, advertising, writers & performers, and they all have to work towards the final experience.
THE EVENT
The event will include songs, poems, a ‘Toast to the Lassies,’ ‘Reply from the Lassies,’ irn bru, oatcakes, the Address to the Haggis and actually getting to eat the haggis! (Hope it is worth the wait.)
We hope that the ladies and gentleman from sheltered housing, P7’s relatives, Mrs. Dunlop, Mr. McRae and Mrs. Cassidy will all enjoy the event.
