A huge thank you to all of the Kippen Parent Council members who helped to organise such a successful Christmas Community Concert on Wednesday 18th December in Kippen Parish Church.
It was a great opportunity for the minister, members of the community, and Kippen Primary’s pupils, families and staff to all share in a celebration together in the week before Christmas. It was wonderful to see such a large congregation gathered on such a wet and windy night. Many thanks to Mr MacRae for welcoming the community into the church to celebrate in the spirit of Christmas. Thank you also to the organist Mr Loosely and to Mrs Dunlop for her welcoming words.
We were very proud of all our pupils, present and former, who entertained us with a variety of musical performance. It’s been said before, but Kippen really has talent! We’re not too sure about the Kippen staff choir though. We do spend more time and energy on the childrens’ performances than our own!
We really appreciate the amount of hard work that went into organising such an event. Well done Kippen Parent Council.
We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Its beginning to feel a lot like Christmas – especially with sleet and snow falling.
Best Wishes from the staff at Kippen Primary School
(Apologies for the poor quality photos – although the candles and the tree looked so beautiful, the camera didn’t really like them!)
