Sharing our learning

“Judo” means “Gentle”

Kippen Judo Club meets every week term-time. The instructor is usually Gary of Premier Judo Scotland, who is currently coaching Team GB for London 2012.

All ages are welcome from Primary 1. We play judo games, practise judo exercises, and do our grades annually. Come along and give it a try, it’s fantastic fun!

Library Volunteers Required

On Wednesday 18th April, KippenPrimary School opened its door to visitors for its annual Open Afternoon and Daffodil Tea. Displays of work covered corridors and classrooms, and the hall was beautifully decorated with colourful tablecloths and spring flowers.

Jumble Sale

Kippen Tennis Club is holding a Jumble Sale on Saturday 21 April  from 12 noon – 2pm in the Village Hall.

There will be children’s and adult’s clothing, bric-a-brac and books and toys for sale as well as a soup and home-baking cafe, Lucky Dip/Bottle stall and a Plant stall.
