The Curriculum for Excellence is an initiative that was kicked off in 2002 by the Scottish Government (at that time the Scottish Executive) to look at what improvements could be made to the Scottish educational system.
As you might expect, the Curriculum for Excellence involves many different stakeholders. A key player is Learning Teaching Scotland and you can find out everything you could ever want to know over on the LTS website.
