Travelling Books Summer Fair

A chance to stock up on books for the summer holidays!

Your child will have the opportunity to visit the Travelling Books Fair at Kippen Primary School on Wednesday or Thursday this week.

Pupils will browse the selection of books on Wednesday or Thursday and bring home a wish list for you to look at. You can then send money into school with your child on Thursday or Friday (in an envelope labelled with their name and a note of the books you wish them to buy) or you can come and visit the fair yourself on Friday 25th May from 2:30pm or on Tuesday 29th May during the parent consultations.

Any cheques should be made payable to KippenPrimary School. The website has an additional payment option where you can buy prepaid vouchers to use at the fair.

There’s a fabulous 3 for the price of 2 offer this year (cheapest book free). The commission from the fair will purchase books to supplement fiction and non-fiction reading in class and will add some new books to our school library.

The more popular books will need to be ordered, so don’t worry if you pay for a book yet your child doesn’t come home with it that day. There are also stationary items for sale at £1 or less.

The book fair will be held in the school hall or the spare classroom – depending on space. Please come and visit the fair or look out for your child’s wish list in their bag.

Thank you to Mrs Schmautz who is helping with the fair when it is open to parents/carers. If anyone else would like to help during parents night then please phone the school office or speak to Mrs Logan directly.
