Well done to everyone who supported this fabulous event.
On Behalf of parent and committee member Morna O’May,
I am delighted to let you know that the Kippen Community Concert raised an amazing £1155 for Kippen Primary School! In addition the mulled wine donations reached £177.54 and this will be donated to the Church staging and lighting fund.
It was a fabulous evening and it would not be possible without the support of so many people. I would like to thank Rev Ellen Larson- Davidson for keeping the show on the road, David Loosley for providing the organ music, John Fulton for helping us with the church venue ( including sorting out a fuse when the mulled wine wasn’t heating up!) Helen Wilson for her introduction, Chris Law for being our sound man, Stuart and Elizabeth Innes for photography, Alastair Stuart, Nic Bissett, Yoko Norris, Helen O’Farrell, Karen McKinnon, Catriona Exeter who set up during the afternoon and helped in the evening, to everyone who donated, lent and baked items, all parents who helped sell tickets, to David and Street Fayre committee for gazebo and to this year’s concert committee, Amy Anderson, Karoline Fisher, Lynn Hood, Ellen Larson-Davidson and Annabel Gaywood, to Mrs Logan and all the staff at Kippen Primary for their amazing support and of course their annual ‘surprise’!
Most of all, the biggest thank you must go to all the fantastic concert performers who, once again, put on a brilliant show and made sure we are all now feeling very Christmassy.
On a personal note, this was my last year organising the Christmas Concert and I want to say a big thank you to all the amazing children who have taken part in the concert over the last 9 years. I very much look forward to coming along next year and sitting in the audience J
