Zoolab visit

P2s and P3s had a visit from ZooLab on Tuesday 7th June. They were shown a taranchula, an African land snail, a monitor lizard, a cockroach, a cane toad, a tortoise and a boa constrictor. Everyone got to touch or hold most of the animals if they wanted to. Fortunately the taranchula stayed in its tank! We got the chance to ask lots of questions about the animals habitats, diet and babies and found out lots of interesting facts. Thanks to Mrs Douglas who came to help us and took the photographs for us and also thanks to the parent council who contributed to the cost of the workshop. Watch out for some animal reports appearing on the website soon.
