As a school we have decided to set up a house system this year. We would like to have three houses, and all children will be allocated a house that they will be part of for their time at Kippen Primary. They will all have an opportunity to collect points for their house if they work hard and follow our school values, and the winning house each month will collect our school cup at Assembly. Primary seven House Captains will lead monthly meetings and encourage the children to work together. During the school year each house will also have an opportunity to organise an event for everyone in school.
One of the first things we need to do is to choose names for the houses. Primary seven have decided that a suggestion box in the entrance hall would be a good way to gather as many ideas as we can. Any child or adult who has a suggestion can put it in the box by Friday 1st October.
