Appeal for Donations for Start-up Stirling’s Crisis Food Bank and Home Starter and Well Being Packs
We currently have very low stock of the following items and would be most grateful if members of the local community could help us by providing some of these and also by publicising the need for donations in all corners of the local community.
Breakfast cereals, cereal or snack bars, UHT milk, fruit juice and biscuits
More than 90 families and individuals per week from all areas of Stirlingshire are being supported by the Food Bank. Demand for our services has doubled since this time last year and we are concerned that numbers will continue to rise over the summer months which is often a quieter donating period. During these months families can not rely on the school meals for their children so this pushes them further into poverty as they struggle to pay bills, buy fuel and basic food supplies. Please help us if you can… many small donations, make a huge difference.
Donations can be brought to our new unit, Start-up Stirling, Unit 9, 10 Munro Road, Stirling, FK7 7UU on Mondays or Wednesdays between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. each week.
You could also make a financial donation using the link and information on the home page of our website.
