Just a reminder that Friday 3rd February is Number Day and a non-uniform day. Pupils will be invited to wear an item of clothing that is number themed or has a number on it (e.g. football shirt, cap, sports shirt or even a onesie!) and we will be using fun curriculum-based maths challenges. To help raise money for the NSPCC, we are asking for a suggested donation of £1, and we’d love everyone in the school to take part in this special event. Please don’t buy any items of clothing specifically for the event. You can stick on cut out numbers or dots/ dice patterns.
Throughout the day the children will be involved in a range of fun maths activities. Each class will be involved in a maths challenge with a measure focus. There will also be a house ‘Who wants to be a Mathionaire?’ quiz.
Number Day is a nationwide mathematics fundraising event for the NSPCC.
We’re looking forward to all the fun of Number Day, and we really appreciate your support. All the money we raise will help to make an enormous difference to children today and help change the lives of children tomorrow.
