We have been learning about Fairtrade products and farmers in Ghana getting a fair price for their coco beans. We have researched each product and have ordered them to sell at our tuck shop. [...read more Fair Trade Tuck Shop] Next week (3-7 October) will be Maths Week at Kippen Primary. From cooking and baking to building a giant tetrahedron, the children will be taking part in an array of exciting activities in which they can use and develop their maths skills. The Pupil Council is arranging a special Genes for Jeans Day and P4/5 will be hosting a Fair Trade tuck shop as part of the week’s activites. There is also the opportunity to use the excellent Maths on Track website, both at home and at school, so remember to register before Monday. To find out more, read the Maths Week 2011 fact sheet. As well, as delicious homebaking, friends and family got to wander round the classrooms to see the children’s work.
